Event Recap 2025 – Round 1 – Buttonwillow 13CW

Our Round 1 season opener hosted by Formula S at Buttonwillow Raceway Classic 13cw featured the biggest turn out for the series in years! Nearly 40 competitors turned their best laps and 4 prevailed for the class wins.
In street class Jamie Moore took first place in his NA1 NSX! Congrats Jamie, you’ve been chasing it for a couple of seasons!
In street mod Daniel Kirby made a 3rd session miracle run in partly wet track conditions which yielded a new class record and 1st place for the day. Street mod is bringing the heat this year, the podium was within 1 second of each other!
In Race Mod we had two competitors break the class record. Robert Burch booked a 1:54.1 and Ger Xiong went a little harder for a 1:53.5 lap time taking 1st place. Sorry Robert!!
Our unlimited class saw a full podium this round and we’re looking forward to seeing them out at Round 2! Congratulations to Jonathan Lugod for leading the pack for a 1st place finish!
